Description
Kerberos, guardian of the underworld.
An "animated illustration" for a drawing class project, a contemporary spin on some aspect of Greek mythology. I chose Cerberus.
I had plans to make this a little more elaborate but had some major technical issues and lost some work. Nevertheless, I made my own textures from ink and wax resist and added effects/animated in Photoshop. I wanted to take it in a different direction than fire and brimstone, and represent hell as a burning amalgamation of unnatural colors.
A fun project; it's definitely sparked an interest in animating more.
